Awareness to Wellness was established in 2018 and has continued to evolve to expand from traditional talk-therapy to include several holistic approaches including Integrative Medicine with a focus on nutrition and Psychosomatic Therapies.

With social work roots, I always had a drive to help others through a comprehensive lens exploring all aspects of client's lives rather than viewing challenges through a symptom checklist perspective. Practicing in a variety of settings ranging from adolescent day treatment, case management, and in-home mental health rehabilitative services before landing as a therapist in 2016. I've also earned additional certifications as an Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Provider and as a

Somatic Therapy Foundations Practitioner.

Through combining traditional talk therapy with integrative methods, I assist clients embarking on a personalized journey to balance and fulfillment. This comprehensive lens emphasizes the mind-body-spirit connection and taking into consideration all aspects of life rather than focusing on a single aspect.

As a Clinical Social Worker, I love what I do and seeing my clients gain the awareness to how things connect (those "light bulb moments") and feeling empowered to make changes to better their life experiences and increase daily joy. I love having the "diving deep" conversations that provide insight to help my clients heal.

I take pride in helping my clients graduate from therapy by taking away what they need for a positive relationship with themselves influenced by all aspects of wellbeing as they gain the confidence they can take on life's challenges. I also value the potential need to resume their work with me if they recognize they need to do so.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors camping, hiking, snowshoeing, walking the dogs, gardening, travelling, and laying in my hammock. I love working on projects around my house with my husband, playing with my dogs and cat, spending time with friends, and having quiet mornings that allow myself to be mindful in my cup of coffee, reading, or finding gentle movement.
